Book Fair
Our Fall Book Fair will be held the week of November 6th! Students will shop Tuesday - Thursday.
Online Pie Orders Due
The Pie Fundraiser is still going in!
Don't forget that this year we are offering the option of donating a pie to the food pantry at CAPTAIN Community Human Services!
There are 2 options for donation:
1 - YOU deliver your donated pie by putting your donated pie(s) on your pie order form and label them "CAPTAIN." When you receive your pies, then drop your donated pie(s) off at CAPTAIN.
2 - WE deliver your donated pie by testing Mallory Detzel at (717) 825-3722 and submitting your order through her. Any questions please reach out to Mallory.
Order forms are due back to school on October 12 and online orders are due on October 17!

PTA meeting
PTA Committee Informational Meeting: September 28th at 6:30pm
This special session will be devoted to information sharing on all the PTA Committees and Events for this school year. We will take a deeper dive into what the purpose and goal is for each committee, as well as, answer any questions on the level of involvement. Parents are encouraged to attend to learn more about these amazing volunteer opportunities!
Arongen Open House
NEW Open House Date Thursday, September 21st + First PTA Meeting!
Due to scheduling conflicts with middle school open houses, the date of Arongen's Open House has moved to Sept. 21. We will also be having our first PTA meeting this day too. Meet the PTA Board, hear from our principal Mr. Hills and learn more about the plans for the new school year.
PTA Meeting will be from 5:15-5:45 with the Open House to follow. More details to come!
Back-to-School Picnic

Our Back-to-School Picnic will be Friday, September 8, 2023 at Arongen from 5:30-7:30 PM. Kona Ice, DJ Nino, and an appearance by our new mascot Ronnie the Eagle!!!

Fun Run

We are looking for volunteers to help with our upcoming Fun Run May 19, (kick off May 8th)! It's been 4 years since our last Boosterthon Fun Run, which means only our 5th graders have experienced it before. It is an extremely interactive, fun time at Arongen - the kids just love it! This event does rely on volunteers to be a success, so please - if you are interested in learning more please come to our PTA meeting this week or email us at arongenpta@gmail.com

5th Grade Panoramic will also be taken this day! Please make sure your 5th grader is present!
5th Grade Yearbook Baby Photos Due
5th Grade Baby Photos Due March 24!
If you would like to have your child's baby photo included in the yearbook, we are using TreeRing's baby photo system this year. 5th grader parents who purchased a yearbook should see an option on their child's Yearbook page to add a baby photo (screen shot below). Please use this feature to send in your child's photo!
If you don't plan to purchase a yearbook, but want your 5th grader's photo added OR have any questions about this process, please email the Yearbook Committee at arongenelemyearbook@gmail.com
